Syndicate LP Update
Brief update!
Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since I shared anything on the topic of the syndicate.
Lots of you have signed-up since I last shared anything so here’s a short update.
Quick refresher
This syndicate started in late 2020 as a way to get more young angel investors onto the cap-tables of companies built by, or for, our generation. We purposefully invested in companies whose founders valued having this generation get more involved, i.e. as investors in their companies.
Updates
We’ve invested in a handful of exciting companies, ranging from pre-seed through growth, including Buzzer (series A), Pallet (seed), Cronos (pre-seed), and several others.
Of the investments made…
(the companies’ names are redacted because these rounds/raises have not been publicly announced yet)
[REDACTED] just closed a $4M seed from MultiCoin Capital, Solana Ventures, etc., marking our position up nearly 6X. We invested in their pre-seed.
[REDACTED] just closed a $5M seed led by a tier-1 firm marking our position up by over 3X. We invested in their pre-seed.
[REDACTED] raised an additional several million on a SAFE with a +$100M cap. We invested on a $14M cap (this is by no means a mark-up; our investment hasn’t yet converted).
